At Elliemagpie we offer a range of sewing courses for the very beginner to the more advanced dressmaker. Why not come along and learn to 'drive' your own sewing machine (you can bring it along if you wish) or join in one of our fun workshops making bunting or owl cushions, basic skirts, shift tunics and bags.

For the more experienced or adventurous dressmakers out there we also have full 50's dress and circle skirt making courses.

Patchwork and Quilting will soon be added to our workshops - so keep coming back for our up to date course listings.

For those not wanting to tackle sewing or prefer something more 'crafty' we have gift wrapping and screen printing courses.

Mother and daughter classes are great fun for all - including hand or machine sewing with the introduction to various fabrics and techniques to make some pretty hair or clothes accessories.

All our classes are held in the upstairs sewing room at the Elliemagpie shop in Prestwich, evenings and weekends. The sewing room is fully kitted out with new computerised Janome sewing machines and is a hive of activity and a lovely social place to come and learn to sew or expand on your skills!
